What does a food expector at Applebees do?

Also what are some of the wages? Just to let ya know im 16 years old and thinking about applying.

Thanx a bundle! What does a food expector at Applebees do?
I think the poster is meaning a food expediter. I worked at Applebees when I was in college and the only times that the expediters worked was on Friday and Saturday nights during the busiest period and if I remember correctly they only make minimum wage. The expediter basically helps the wait staff get everything on the plate ready (like if it requires bread, etc) and groups orders together to speed up service.

Also, you people are absolutely rude! The poster stated that they are only 16 years old. You say inspector and you are WAY off and yet you are berating this person for not using the correct word???What does a food expector at Applebees do?
a food expector does nothing-pay attention in english in school or you won't get a job anywhere.

I think you mean INSPECTOR and that would be a position in the kitchen to double check meals as they get 'plated' and sent out to the dining room-making sure the right combinations are on the plates, each table getting their right food orders, etc.

I've worked in restaurants for years in the past and never once had a 'food inspector' - but probably with the low intelligence level of job applicants they have to hire someone now to make sure things are done right!

Sad.......What does a food expector at Applebees do?
expeditor is the word your looking for, as the expo you but the orders together making sure they are correct and placing the extra sauces and garnishes on the plates. Wages depend on the area at my store we just use servers to expo on the weekends. You might also be too young but that depends ion the area as well. Its not an easy job you need to be fast and accurate as well as put up with the cooks and servers asking for things. What does a food expector at Applebees do?
"expector"... means SPIT... it's in any dictionary.
Expects.

The pay is real good and not much to do and they let you have anything you want for lunch....free
