Places like Wendy's, Kohl's, Ihop, and Village Inn will accept applications from people who are only sixteen, but any restaurant that serves alcohol is not allowed to have minors serving it, so Arbys and Applebees may be out (double check on them though.) It will vary by state by state but most fast food places will hire at 14 or 16 depending on the state. I work at Kohls and they will hire at 17 in SD. All these places require you to be at least 18 since there are heavy machinery(they say) you work with.. These places have websites which can confirm there age requirements.
