Anyone ever get sick eating at Applebees?

I can't eat there. I get ill everytime.Anyone ever get sick eating at Applebees?
Not sick; but I won't go there anymore.

Years ago, I was having dinner with my wife; my daughter was just a toddler, and my wife's Aunt.

We were sitting in the "No Smoking" section.

The waitress started seating people across the aisle from us, not even 4 feet away, and telling them they can smoke.

I told her we were in the "No Smoking" section, but she replied, "Well, the "Smoking" section is full, so we're making another "Smoking" section.

I thought that was the rudest thing a restaurant could do to patrons, and told her so.

I got the rest of our food to go, and left.Anyone ever get sick eating at Applebees?

Never actually wanted to eat there enough times to get sick of it. Seems like overpriced frozen food to me.

I never got sick of eating there just got pissed off when they started serving garlic bread instead of bobboli bread. So I don't dine out there anymore.
I would think you might be allergic to cigarette smoking. Most Applebees still have a smoking section.
No, but the last time I was at the Applebee's near my house, I ordered a philly cheesesteak, expecting it to have the original works--peppers, sauteed onions, cheese, meat drenched in sauce, messy, and bread soggy---and it came to me with the meat burnt and it just tasting horrible, and the works were missing. I've avoided Applebee's ever since.
My mom got food poisoning from that restaurant and hasn't eaten there since. She ended up in the emergency room and was very ill for a couple days.
Oh my that sucks. Maybe you should try Red Robin they got better food I work there so I know. They have great burgers and pastas and wonderful shakes. Hope you feel better.
I went to Applebees once and ordered a dish that usually comes with onions. I asked if I could get it without the onions (I'm allergic) and the waitress said that was no problem. The food came and there were, of course, onions in it. When I asked her about it she offered to pick them out. "I have really long nails. It wouldn't be a problem," she said. That was enough to turn me off of Applebees for good.
I got food poisoning eating fish there at one time, and thought I was going to die!
I work at Applebees. Im quitting in 2 weeks tho. I think our food's good. I love the bacon cheeseburgers. Anyone want a discount?
No I love eating at Applebees. Next time get your steak med/well done instead of rare! ;)
