Is it better to work at a clothing store like Old Navy's or food places like Subways or Applebees?

I've had experience in both food and retail. both are harder than most people realise. I'd say food is more demanding. I'd guess pay scale about the same. Benefit packages would come into play when considering which to apply/take. Are there vacation time restrictions? Do they offer discounts? well when i get old enough to i am thinking of working at a restaurant where you can get tips. So when you get your paycheck you get the tips with it too which means you get more money then what you would normally get when working at places like walmart or even a clothing store. hope that helps
It depends. If you like to be busy and it goes by faster for you if you are busy and dealing with a lot of people, then you should work at a food place. If you like to not be that busy, I would suggest a clothing store. You will be bored though and it will be a lot of walking around after customers and folding the clothes after they mess them up. Both jobs have thier pros and cons, it just depends on what you can put up with or that you like.
