You should set a limit on the amount to be spent. If you set it at $5 everyone can have fun finding white elephant treasures at flea markets. If you set it at $20 then everyone knows what to expect. But when you set out to do a gift exchange, it's really kinder to everyone to set some sort of limit because some people are on smaller budgets than others and don't want to seem cheap, but don't want to spend a wad either.$20 gift card to Applebees or Red Lobster as a New Year's present?
Applebee's..they have something for everyone. Not everyone likes seafood (raises hand). $20 bucks depends on the person. A social climbing person will consider it cheap...a person who is content in life and down to earth will be grateful.$20 gift card to Applebees or Red Lobster as a New Year's present?
Well Applebees and RedLobster both are moderatly expensive. A single meal costs around 14$ and with taxes and a drink it'll end up being close to 18$ So your 20$ gift card could end up buying her a meal at either of those places. I think it'll be an okay present :)
Just don't go out of your budget :)$20 gift card to Applebees or Red Lobster as a New Year's present?
Does she eat at those places often? If she doesn't I would get her something else, but if she does eat there on a regular basis go ahead.
U can get your co workers some other gifts in the same amount like muffins, photo frame, body spray, wallet
