Are you supposed to tip for curbside to go like at Applebees?

I'm never sure about this. I mean, all the person does is bring the food out to your car - it's not like they return to bring you other stuff or clean the table. So.....I wasn't sure if I should tip. I don't want to be rude!Are you supposed to tip for curbside to go like at Applebees?
I work at Applebees and yes you should tip them, epecially on a Friday or Saturday night. The carside workers sometimes have 10 different orders at once (and these are orders with 1-5 meals) and they have to answer the phone for orders, make sure every specification is correct, wrap, box, and bag the order, cash out your car etc. Now imagine doing this all at once. The phone is ringing, your next car is here, you are in the middle of boxing their food, another car needs change. It is stressful and deserves a tip.Are you supposed to tip for curbside to go like at Applebees?
I always tip when I order take-out. I don't tip as much as I do when sitting down but a couple of dollars would suffice. I tip because those people who run it out to you are usually servers and they are filling that duty for the night as well as doing their regular position.

Curbside crap is so ridiculous---for fat and lazy people. What is so hard about going in to get your damn food?? Do we really need someone to cook it, pack it AND bring it to your car door??
I always tip them, especially if it is raining or extremely cold. I tip the same as when I eat at a buffet style restaurant, a little less than what I would give for full service, but still something.Are you supposed to tip for curbside to go like at Applebees?
Maybe a dollar or two. I don't think they get a lot of tips.
I wouldn't think so. You are picking up the food. It's not like the waitress/waiter is bringing your drinks and refilling them. But then again, I don't know how the tipping works, like if they give the cooks a piece of it or not....if so then at tip given at curbside should go to the cooks.
i tip them...they are providing a service and should get something..
