I'm 16 and trying to find a job so I'm just wondering what I'll be doing if I get hired somewhere like thatWhat do 16 year olds do when starting at a restaurant such as Applebees or Buddy's Grill?
Every restaurant has different jobs within the restaurant. Your age may not be as much a concern as the job the company needs to fill. Sometimes it will be refilling drink machines, pouring drinks, gathering the chosen meals, and ringing up the meal. It can be turning burgers or cleaning trays. Believe it or not you will learn from all these mundane duties because experience is important in all these areas. You will generally be studied and hopefully be recognized as a good worker who can be in a variety of positions.
