I take it you are budgeting for yourself or someone else for some special dinner, right? You might be complicating it just a bit though. If you want something safe though, then just average it out to $20 a person. I know it sounds like a lot but the truth is, it's not cheap to eat out at these places these days. You don't eat out there everyday though, thank God, but when you do you pay for it. If you want to chance it then figure $15 per person. You don't generally have to figure out appetizers or dessert unless they are NFL footplayers with huge appetites. Your average plate cost $10-12 but you got to figure out taxes and tip (and I hope you don't intend on NOT tipping or tipping less than what's standard otherwise you may spoil something special). Don't forget drinks cost money too and hopefully you're not paying for drinkers because booze can run up the tab quickly to about $8-12 a drink EASY. You could go online and look at the menu too beforehand if you have any doubts to what I'm saying...lol.



What I would do if I were you and really set on buying a group dinner and saving money, is take them too Lucille's. There's a small chain in LA and you can go off the menu online beforehand too. You can expect to spend $200-250 which may seem like a lot still but if you go to Applebees or Fridays then you will spend $300-400 and up. Otherwise try MceeDees. You can't go wrong on price there!



Sizzler is actually good for groups too. $10 per person on all you can eat. Go online to confirm that though. I'd say it's probably your best bet of all them. Plus you pay beforehand and I'm not sure if you tip at all.How much would it cost for 9 people to go to applebees or friday's?
I would say at applebees u can do the 2 for $20 deal. so that wud be around $100 with that one extra person. And applebees has add a desert for $1.00 so you can put $10 for that....the desert is brownie with ice cream on top. I think ur bill with tip will be around $140..
Not everyone is going to order the same entrees - some will not have dessert, some will not want appetizers.
