Depends on what state you work in. Washington and California are the only two states that pay their servers minimum wage plus tips. In every other state in the country servers make around $2 or $3 an hour plus tips. I know that here in Washington if you work at a nicer restaurant like the Olive Garden and work 40 hours a week you can make $600 or $700 a week between tips and hourly wages. But it really just depends on how many hours are being worked, what state, what kind of restaurant. All of that.
