How does Applebees cook their broccoli?

It looks so dark green and fresh, like it was just picked, yet it's soft with a little crunch still in it. It didn't taste like it was steamed and I know it wasn't boiled. I think it even had some garlic on it as well.How does Applebees cook their broccoli?
If they do it like a lot of restaurants, it's probably microwaved for about 1-1/2 minutes with a little garlic butter. They use small bags that are similar to the steamer bags you can buy at the store.How does Applebees cook their broccoli?
If you are referring to the weight watchers dishes that come with the broccoli... it's a seasoning packet mixed with water.



If you are rreferring to the bread crumb broccoli like you get at Applebee's. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.



* Broccoli (1 pound), cut small

* 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

* 1 slice whole-wheat bread, ground in a food processor

* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

* Freshly ground black pepper



COOK BROCCOLI: Cook the broccoli in lightly salted boiling water until crisp-tender, 2 to 4 minutes. Drain.



TOAST: Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the bread crumbs. Toast until golden, then remove from heat.



PUT TOGETHER: Add the Parmesan, broccoli, and a few grinds of pepper. Toss %26amp; Serve!
