probably minimum wage or it might be less if you are considered a server. They can pay you something like $3.00 an hour and supposedly you make money in tips. And they hired you anyway, imagine that.
You'll probably be payed less than minimum since you're working for tips and they more than likely offer you one meal per shift.
If you just became employed and you don't know how much you are making, they are going to take you for a suckers ride.
That means instead of paying you what they would have originally, you'll just get min. wage. They expect you to ask! By not asking they have already assumed that you will be there for a very short time or that you just are not serious about working.Talk to your supervisor and simply tell her/him the truth. You were nervous abot not getting the job and when you did , you were so thankfull, you did not want to seam greedy by asking for your wage.
They will understand.
