Do you have to share tips at Outback? How about Applebees?

I'm looking for a new job and was hopping to work as a waitress (I'm kinda good at it) but i do not want to share tips. What is a good place?Do you have to share tips at Outback? How about Applebees?
At Outback you have to tip out 3% of you total sales. That is split amongst the bussers, hosts, and bartenders.

Most restarants you are going to have to atleast tip out the busser and bartender if the restaurant has one.

I know applebees pays there hosts around $8 per hour, so you shouldn't have to tip out the hosts.Do you have to share tips at Outback? How about Applebees?
I've been a waitress for 8 years now. You actually don't share tips with other waitresses, however you do have to tip out a bartender, busser, and sometimes a Server assistant, It all depends on the restaurant. I worked at Chilis for a few months, and didn't like it because you have to tip out 4 people, at 1% of your total sales to each person(bartender, busser, Server assistant, and quality assurance) I thought it sucked, let's say if your sales that night is $1000 so 1% is $10, you'd have to tip out $40 that night. If I were you i would find a restaurant that doesn't have a bar, that's 1 less person to tip out. The place I work at now, is a local family restaurant owns by an independent owner, the only person I'd have to tip out is a busser, between $5-10 depending on how busy business is. sunday mornings I'd make about $120, Tip out $10 and keep the rest...Do you have to share tips at Outback? A job at a restaurant as a waitress you will have to do what they call a tip out. You give tips to your bartender and bus boy. It's not much... a few dollars, but it's part of the business. Bartenders make the drinks your table orders and the bus boy cleans up your table for you so you have to tip out. Usually on good nights you will make over $100 so giving out a few bucks to each won't seem that bad. You don't share tips with other waitresses. It's just the way it works and all restaurants work this way.Do you have to share tips at Outback? How about Applebees?
Avoid all corporate gigs since they almost always have mandatory tip sharing and stupid corporate rules. What happens is anyone good leaves and the bad ones know they will make better tips there than on their own. I have worked in a lot of places in the back and waitresses in the corporate places are very unhappy. The people who eat at Applebees are not known for being good tippers.

Diner waitresses can actually do pretty good since it is fast turnover and you do not have a bar to tip out.

Starbucks recently got in trouble since they were making them tip share with the managers who were not even serving customers and lost a case brought against them.
